Dignity Health Sports Park, home of the 2024 MLS Cup Champion LA Galaxy, has launched a comprehensive four-year renovation plan set to be completed by 2027, including a slew of new premium spaces
Phase One: Upgrades Preview for 2025
The first phase of renovations, to be completed by February 2025, includes substantial upgrades to seating, concessions, and premium experiences. Highlights include:
• Fieldside West Seats: Positioned closer to the field than ever, offering fans unmatched views.
• West Terrace Cabanas: Semi-private, open-air spaces with access to exclusive catering and the Stadium Club.
• Platinum Seats: Featuring flip-down mesh for superior comfort and breathability, redefining luxury at mid-field.
Fan-Driven Renovation
Central to the project is a commitment to fan-centric decision-making. Insights from the LA Galaxy Fan Council and game-day surveys directly influenced the renovation plans.
Tech Advancements
The renovations also include investments in technology and amenities to improve accessibility and engagement. Recent upgrades feature:
• Evolv Technology: AI-based security hardware for faster, safer stadium entry.
• Galaxy Express: A free shuttle service enhancing accessibility for fans across Los Angeles.
• Galaxy Park Expansion: A pregame activity hub with futsal, pickleball, and padel courts.
Balancing Legacy and Innovation
Since opening in 2003, Dignity Health Sports Park has hosted iconic events, including seven MLS Cups and the FIFA Women’s World Cup Final. Looking ahead, the stadium will also host rugby and field hockey competitions during the 2028 LA Olympics, ensuring its legacy remains intact while embracing the future.
